Music Moves Me Closer to God
If you've ever heard me speak on raising your frequency (AKA vibration) in your life or also how to change your mood, the you have heard me repeatedly speak about the power of music. Especially the type of music that has lyrics that resonate with your soul and move you closer to connecting with God. For the longest time in my early teenage years I never quite knew how to explain God or my connection to Him but every time I'd put on a great "Christian song" I instantly felt better. I felt closer to God. Calmer. Stronger. Happier. The list goes on. Maybe you can relate to this as well. Now listening to Christian Music is apart of my daily life.
One of my FAVORITE groups that I'd love for you to check out (if you haven't already) is called Mosaic MSC.

They're a worship band from right here in Los Angeles...actually where I go to church and it's a place I call home- Mosaic a church founded by Pastor Erwin McManus.
I've listened to lots of different worship music in my day and I'll just tell you these guys have a different vibe and perhaps even a different perspective.
As it was once said: “Music is one of the most powerful symbols and artistic forms to inspire people’s imagination…to bring people back to God, through the nuances of the Gospel message. So, I have always believed that music is one of the most important tools for welcoming them back, drawing them in and also initiating new encounters, inviting others.”
Music is a gift. It’s a wonderful gift! It pulled me out of ditches MANY TIMES. We offer back this gift to our Creator by our singing and praising. I love this familiar quote by Saint Augustine: “He who sings prays twice.” Music, with our voices singing, our ears listening, and hands creating music, enables us to physically express the spiritual joy of our heart. Music has the power to bring the mind, body, and spirit in unison as we reach out to God. Let me know what you think:
